From Utica (2 hours):
  • Take Route 12 North to Lowville, NY.
  • In Lowville Route 12 merges into Route 26.
  • As you go through Lowville follow signs that lead you to Rte. 812 towards Croghan.
  • Follow directions from Croghan to Oswegatchie below.

From Syracuse (2.5 hours):
  • Take Interstate-81 North to Adams Center.
  • Take Route 177 in Adams Center to Route 12.
  • Take Route 12 into Lowville and take a slight right.
  • At the intersection turn left onto Route 26.
  • Follow signs to Route 812 North to Croghan.
  • Follow directions from Croghan to Oswegatchie below.

From Watertown (1 hour):
  • Take Route 126 to Carthage.
  • Continue on Route 126 through Carthage and follow into Croghan
  • In Croghan, turn left onto Route 812.
  • Follow directions from Croghan to Oswegatchie below.

From Croghan To Oswegatchie (20 minutes):
  • Take Route 812 to Croghan.
  • Go through the town of Croghan.
  • As you leave Croghan you will see a sign (Oswegatchie Camp) on the right hand side of the road.
  • At the sign take a right onto the Belfort Rd.
  • Take Belfort Rd. into Belfort (approximately 3.5 miles). Road comes to a T in front of the BELFORT INN.
  • At the T take a right onto Long Pond Rd. From this point you are 8.5 miles from camp.
  • Continue on paved road. Do not take any side dirt roads. Beware of sharp corners.
  • Sutliff Lodge will be the first place you come to (a big brown lodge on the right). Stop there to register.

From Plattsburgh To Oswegatchie (3.5 hours):
  • Take Route 3 West from Plattsburgh to Harrisville.
  • Beyond Harrisville you will turn Left onto Route 812 South.
  • Turn left onto Erie Canal Road
  • Turn left onto Mt Tom Cross Rd
  • Mt Tom Cross Rd becomes Long Pond Road.
  • Eventually you will cross two bridges that are one mile apart. After the second bridge you are 1.5 miles from camp.
  • Sutliff Lodge will be the first place you come to (a big brown lodge on the right). Welcome!
